Capacity Building

One of the core activities under the Female Scholarship Foundation is to provide academic mentoring and psychosocial support for the scholars. The Gender Mainstreaming Directorate is organizing the second FSF Scholars Capacity Building Forum for the academic year 2016/2017 on the 17th March, 2017.Our capacity building workshops have focused on enhancing students’ capacities in soft skills; preparing students in their final year of study for the life after university; Understanding the 21st Century Labour Market Trends; Supercharging Your Employability Value: Tools and Insights for Strategic Career Positioning; and Job Acquisition Skills.Capacity building workshops have been conducted collaboratively with Makerere University staff and staff from the Private Sector namely; Gender Mainstreaming Directorate, Makerere University Guidance and Counselling Centre; Human Capital Development Consult; and the Department of Academic Registrar, Makerere University
